Location: Near Heathrow Airport (easily accessible from Slough, Windsor, Staines, and Uxbridge)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Courier Warehouse Operations Manager to join a busy and growing logistics company operating in one of the UK’s key freight and distribution hubs. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing a team and ensuring the timely and compliant processing of international courier shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 6 warehouse staff and drivers during evening operations.
- Ensure efficient handling, processing, and readiness of all shipments for export.
- Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations and internal procedures.
- Oversee warehouse operations including staffing, supplier coordination, and performance targets.
- Liaise with domestic and international partners to maintain service quality.
- Monitor and report on operational performance and team output.
- Support strategic improvement initiatives alongside the Operations Director.
- Operate forklifts and carry out manual handling tasks where required.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in the courier or freight forwarding industry, ideally in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Solid knowledge of import/export procedures and customs compliance.
- IATA Dangerous Goods certificate (preferred) or working knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling.
- Valid forklift licence (essential).
- Excellent leadership, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
